What is scotia beading?

Scotia beading is a decorative moulding that’s used to conceal nooks and crannies, providing a seamless finish.

Depending on the type and the size of your space, your wooden flooring has a specific expansion gap around the room. This ensures airflow and allows the floor to naturally expand and contract as the temperature changes without warping.

Scotia beading fills the gap by simply attaching to the skirting board around the perimeter walls with nails or glue.
